20 Things We Should Say More Often

So I came across this YouTube video today Kid President's 20 Things We Should Say More Often and I absolutely loved it! I'm not sure if these are his thoughts and ideas or if is just the deliverer, but either way his message was well received! At the end of his video he asked for viewers to share what they think people should say more often. There was one thing that instantly came to my mind. Before I share that with you, watch his video and/or read his 20 thing we should say more often below (my favorites are bolded).

20. Thank you.
19. Excuse me.
18. Here's a surprise corndog I bought you because you're my friend.
17. I'm sorry.
16. I forgive you.
15. You can do it!
14. "I've got barbecue sauce on my shirt too."
13. Please.
12. Everything is going to be ok.
11. Aw! You got me a corndog too?! You shouldn't have buddy.
10. I don't know.
9. You're so awesome….
8. Here's a high-five!
7. My sports team isn't always the best sports team.
6. *Nothing*
5. *Fart sound*
4. I disagree with you, but I still like you as a person who is a human being and I will treat you like that because if i didn't it would make everything bad and that's what lots of people do and it is lame
3. AHHHHHHH!
2. Life is tough, but so are you.
1. Something nice!

Despite my dislike for corndogs (I recommend replacing with cookies!) I agree with all of these. Words are so powerful! Sometimes we get so caught up in our day-to-day activities that we forget to stop and simply say thank you. Other times, we say hurtful things when we would have been better of saying nothing at all.

One veryyyyyyyy important thing I believe we should say more often is...

I love you.

Let the people you love know how you feel about them. Say is often. Say it during good times and during hard times. Most importantly, show it, make sure it is felt, because words without actions are meaningless

My favorite Grammy 2014 performance- PINK

My favorite performance at the 2014 Grammy Award Show was Pink's acrobatic performance of her single "Try." I am officially a huge fan.

If you missed it, here is her phenomenal performance.

Bey & Jay, I wanted more #GRAMMYs2014

I expected so much more from Beyoncé and Jay Z at the 2014 Grammy Award Show. For this to be "Music's Biggest Night" and the first live performance of Beyonce's new hit single "Drunk In Love", a lip syncing chair routine just was not enough.

The couple opened the 56th Annual Grammy Awards Show with Beyonce's very sexy but dry chair routine. At some point she looked as if she forgot her next move. When she finally decided to stand, she did a slight twerk dance and failed. Now Beyoncé how could you let Miley Cyrus out twerk you????

For the record, I'm not a Beyoncé hater and I commend her for being daring with her new album. But I'm disappointed with her uneventful performance.

I wanted Beyoncé to do what she does best and put on a show. I wanted action. I wanted the couple to performed their past hit singles "Crazy In love" then "Dangerously In Love" and end with "Drunk In Love". I wanted other "drunk in love" couples on the stage to add liveliness. And her wardrobe, not only was her thong like, 2-piece, fishnet attire too x-rated for a family friendly show but it didn't even fit her body properly.

Maybe Jay-Z and Beyoncé just didn't care or have the time to rehearse for a real show. Or maybe the believe at this point of their careers they already have proven their talents, but c'mon, IT'S THE GRAMMYS.

One thing I did like was the brief PDA toward the end of their performance that the couple rarely shows. If you missed the performance, here it is.

So, Church By The Glades put a free #selfie photo booth in the lobby and my friends and I decided to take some photos. Little did we know, there was a hidden camera. I love my church!
