Mini Weekend Vacation: South Florida Memorial Weekend

I waste no time! The fun began Thursday night as soon as I got in town. The first stop was Wet Willies at Seminole Hardrock in Hollywood with my line sisters.

Up next, Miami Prime, a sports bar and grill. The early vibe was nice, the Miami college crowd went crazy as they watched the Heat game but the bad behavior began when the lights went down and the music went up. #BTW the Heat won that night against the Chicago Bulls, 83-80.

The original Friday night plan was King Of Diamonds but the club was filled to capacity before my girls and I arrived. That night Lil Wayne spent over $200,000! I was a little salty that I couldn't attend but quickly got over it. Instead, I headed to South Beach. This was a first and last time experience for me. The streets were filled with thousands of locals, out of town visitors and celebrities. The stories I heard beforehand about guys acting like animals trying to get every female they see was true! I was annoyed by the constant grabbing and calling from guys. However, I did enjoy the chicken wings at Johnny Rockets and the time spent with my cousin, some friends and line sisters.

Supa Twitch's birthday celebration at Floridian Ballroom in Pembroke Pines was the move for Saturday night. It was a REAL Jamaican party! Music was played by ZJ Liquid, Black Chiney, Sweetness, Richie Pooh and more.

I didn't leave the party until 7 a.m. and headed straight to IHOP!

My favorite party for the weekend was on Sunday at Chill. This party never disappoints me! Chill is an all-inclusive, upscale, day to evening, outdoor, reggae party. The party was kept at Gulf Stream in Hallandale. When I arrived there were hundreds of people in line, but my friends and I dealt with that. ;) It did rain for about three minutes but the party went on!

The partying continued, Sunday night at Eden, which was a grown and sexy Mansion party in Miami. The party was put on by Tiedro Desinor, best known as Tee!

Memorial morning I headed to Fort Lauderdale Beach with family. We ate at Flavors of Italy Bistro then laid out in the sand.

The weekend was defiantly everything I expected. Good laughs, good parties, good food, shared with great people. I can't wait to return to South Florida for July 4th Weekend!
